In order to train good quality specialists in medical imaging and radiological sciences, our department has recruited 8 full time teachers with the qualification above the level of assistant professor, 4 full time lecturers, and 4 part time lecturers. In future three years, the department plans to have 10 full time teachers with the qualification above the level of assistant professor in the faculty and will invite medical doctors and radiologists from hospitals to lecture on courses related to clinical practice so as to elevate our teaching quality and learning experience. For future teacher recruitment, the department will ensure the approach to our planned focused interdisciplinary studies: medical imaging analysis, sonographic technology, radiological diagnosis technology, radiological treatment technology, nuclear medicine technology, medical physics, radiation measurement, radioactive isotope tracer technology, and radiation medicine development.
Focused areas and the approach of our department are broad and multidisciplinary centered on both basic sciences and clinical sciences. We have designed 8 focused areas:
Radiological Diagnosis Technology
- Radiological Treatment Technology
- Radioactive Isotope Tracer Technology
- Medical Physics
- Medical Imaging Analysis
- adiation Medicine Development
- Sonographic Technology
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
